Camping Ground
The Clareville Campground is centrally located in the heart of the Wairarapa region, within the grounds of the Clareville Complex. We are conveniently located just off SH 2, in Chester Road, 2km north of Carterton and 10km south of Masterton.
At the Clareville Campground we offer powered and non powered sites in our landscaped grounds complete with ornamental pond, ducks and picnic area, all located in a pleasant rural setting. Motor Homes, Caravans, and tents are most welcome.

Physical address: 2 – 12 Chester Road, Clareville, Carterton. Come through 2nd gateway on right (near railway line) to enter the Clareville Campground. For enquiries call in to the Campground Office or the adjacent caravan.
Clareville Campground is a great place to base yourself. Just down the road, within walking distance, we have the Carterton Golf Club, award-winning Clareville Bakery and Clareville Garden Nursery. If you are feeling more adventurous it’s only a 15 minute drive to Mt Holdsworth, gateway to the Tararua Ranges for some scenic walks, cycling or overnight tramps. Other local attractions within the Carterton region include; local Wineries, Stonehenge Aoteoroa, Farmers Market held every Sunday and more.
